Account credentials allow users to access controlled data and contribute data to ARCHIMEDES.
When creating an ARCHIMEDES account, you will be asked to indicate if you are a Principal Investigator (PI) – an independent researcher affiliated with a research institution who leads a portfolio of scientific research (e.g., university professor, physician with a research appointment at a hospital or healthcare institution, researcher in a private company).
If you are a PI, you can proceed with account creation and select which of the following permissions you want: Data Contribution, Controlled Data Access, or both. Please refer to Please refer to Step 2: Data Access or Data Contribution for additional information.
If you are not a PI, you will need to obtain an invitation from a PI to either contribute data or access controlled data. Your account will be created upon receiving your first invitation.
Data contributed to ARCHIMEDES will be made available to users through Open Access and Controlled Access tiers.

Users can contribute health data and select the tier of access through Open Access or Controlled Access.
