BHI Open Science Award Call
The BHI Open Science Award recognizes individuals or teams within the BHI community who have made outstanding contributions to advancing open science practices. BHI researchers engaged in promoting or implementing open science are encouraged to apply.
Open science brings together practices that make scientific knowledge openly available, accessible, and reusable. It fosters collaboration, transparency, and public engagement in research, while enhancing reproducibility, equitable access, and overall research quality. This award is part of the Brain-Heart Interconnectome (BHI) Research Program, a $109-million initiative funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF). BHI aims to revolutionize the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of brain-heart interconnected conditions, ultimately improving health outcomes in Canada and globally. Apply here.
